Gerhard Berger predicts a Ferrari title in 2025

Former Formula 1 driver Gerhard Berger believes that Ferrari has a strong chance of winning a title in the upcoming season.

With the arrival of Lewis Hamilton alongside Charles Leclerc, the Italian team aims to return to success and end a 17-year title drought.

Last season, Ferrari came close to winning the Constructors' Championship but was ultimately beaten by McLaren in the final round in Abu Dhabi.

Since the technical regulations have remained unchanged over the winter, the competition at the front of the grid is expected to be tight again, with Ferrari well-positioned as a key contender.

Berger, who raced for six seasons with Scuderia Ferrari, is convinced that the Maranello-based team will secure a title in 2025.

"I would bet on Ferrari this year," he told Auto Motor und Sport. "I can't say whether Hamilton or Leclerc will win the Drivers' Championship, but Ferrari will lift a trophy. It's just my personal impression, but last year, Ferrari was fast almost all season, with only a few exceptions."
