Isack Hadjar will join Red Bull Racing in 2026 alongside Max Verstappen

The rumor – followed by the official announcement – is now confirmed: Isack Hadjar, the talented 21-year-old French driver, will be Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull for the 2026 Formula 1 season.

After a very promising first season with the Racing Bulls junior team, Hadjar managed to convince the team’s management. He notably secured a podium at the Dutch Grand Prix and scored points in several races.

The announcement, made public on December 2, 2025, confirms the replacement of Yuki Tsunoda, who will be demoted to the role of reserve driver.

For Hadjar, this is an enormous opportunity: joining one of the top teams on the grid, learning alongside an exceptional driver like Verstappen, and starting a new chapter for Red Bull at a time when 2026 will bring major regulatory changes to F1.

With this promotion, the 2026 season is shaping up to be a turning point in his career, but also a tremendous challenge: establishing himself in a historic team amid high expectations, intense pressure, and ambitious goals.
