Ferrari in 2025: Hamilton and Leclerc, a promising duo in search of glory

The 2025 Formula 1 season promises to be full of twists and turns for Scuderia Ferrari, marked by the arrival of the seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, alongside Charles Leclerc. This promising duo is generating great expectations among tifosi and motorsport observers.

Hamilton adapts to life at Ferrari

After twelve successful seasons with Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton has joined Ferrari, bringing with him invaluable experience. His integration into Maranello seems to be going smoothly. Hamilton quickly bonded with his teammate Charles Leclerc, with the two drivers sharing relaxing moments over chess games to strengthen their camaraderie. Fully embracing Italian culture, Hamilton has been spotted at the favorite restaurants of the legendary Michael Schumacher and has immersed himself in local traditions. His arrival has generated unprecedented excitement, attracting thousands of fans during his first laps on Ferrari's private Fiorano circuit.

Promising first laps for the Ferrari duo

On February 19, 2025, Ferrari unveiled its new single-seater, the SF-25, at the Fiorano circuit. Charles Leclerc had the honor of taking the first laps, closely followed by Lewis Hamilton. This first run was met with enthusiasm by the many supporters present to cheer on their drivers. The SF-25, an evolution of the previous model, embodies Ferrari's hopes of reclaiming the world title, a feat they have not achieved since 2008.

Leclerc excited to collaborate with Hamilton

Charles Leclerc has expressed his excitement about Lewis Hamilton's arrival at Ferrari. In an interview with L'Équipe, the Monegasque driver stated: "It's something that excites me a lot. Because it's Lewis Hamilton, he has an incredible track record. For me, it will be a huge opportunity to learn, to see how he works." Leclerc sees this collaboration as a chance to enrich his experience and elevate the team's performance level.

Challenges and prospects for the upcoming season

The combination of two top-tier drivers in the same team is not without its challenges. Christian Horner, Red Bull's team principal, highlighted the potential risks of such a setup, stating that Ferrari will have to carefully manage the dynamics between Hamilton and Leclerc to avoid any internal rivalry that could be detrimental.

Nevertheless, optimism prevails within Scuderia Ferrari. Team principal Frédéric Vasseur has noted the good rapport between his two star drivers and is confident in their ability to collaborate effectively to bring Ferrari back to the top of the world rankings.

As the 2025 season approaches, all eyes are on Ferrari and its formidable duo. Hamilton and Leclerc's on-track performances will be closely scrutinized, with hopes of seeing Scuderia Ferrari return to glory and deliver memorable moments for its fans.
